LivePerson appoints Tony Zingale to board of directors

LivePerson (NASDAQ: LPSN) announced the appointment of Tony Zingale to its board of directors, effective immediately. The company disclosed the appointment in a statement released Thursday.

Zingale brings over 40 years of experience in the technology industry, with expertise in enterprise software, product development, and market strategy. He currently serves on the boards of ON24 and privately held companies Expressive and Athos Therapeutics.

Previously, Zingale served as CEO and Executive Chairman of Jive Software, where he led the company through its initial public offering. He also held leadership positions as President and CEO of Mercury Interactive, which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard, and President and CEO of Clarify, which was acquired by Nortel Networks.

"Tony's expertise and proven track record driving growth and innovation within the enterprise SaaS and software industries will be invaluable as we continue to pursue our strategy," said John Sabino, CEO of LivePerson.

Zingale stated he was "excited to join the LivePerson Board at such a pivotal time for the company and the conversational AI industry."

LivePerson provides conversational AI and digital transformation services to enterprise clients. The company reports powering nearly a billion conversational interactions monthly for brands including HSBC, Virgin Media, and Chipotle.
