Lemonade appoints PayPal CMO Geoff Seeley to board of directors

Digital insurance company Lemonade (NYSE: LMND) announced the appointment of Geoff Seeley, Chief Marketing Officer of PayPal Holdings, Inc., to its board of directors.



Seeley oversees global marketing for both PayPal and Venmo. Prior to PayPal, he served as Global Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Afterpay, where he worked during the company's $29 billion acquisition by Square.



His previous experience includes serving as Global Head of Marketing at Airbnb and holding leadership positions at Unilever and Pearson over his 30-year career. Seeley holds a B.Sc. from University College London.



"I'm thrilled to join the Board at this stage of the Company's growth and to support Daniel, Shai, and the leadership team in building a category-defining brand powered by technology and trust," Seeley said in a statement.



Lemonade co-founder and president Shai Wininger said Seeley's experience in consumer behavior, brand building, and marketing transformation will support the company's global marketing expansion.



The current board includes Lemonade co-founders Daniel Schreiber and Shai Wininger, along with Michael Eisenberg, Deb Schwartz, Dr. Samer Haj-Yehia, and Maria Angelidou-Smith.



Lemonade provides AI-powered insurance products including renters, pet, car, homeowners, and life insurance across the United States and European Union.
