ImmunoPrecise appoints healthcare data expert Jeff Fried to advisory board

ImmunoPrecise Antibodies Ltd. (NASDAQ: IPA) announced the appointment of Jeff Fried to its advisory board, according to a company statement.

Fried brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare data infrastructure and artificial intelligence innovation. He currently serves as Director of Platform Strategy and Innovations for InterSystems, where he develops data solutions for healthcare and life sciences environments.

His background includes chief technology officer roles at Teloquent, Empirix, and BA Insight, companies that were subsequently acquired by Syntellect, InfoVista, and Upland Software respectively. He also held product leadership positions at FAST Search and Microsoft.

Fried has supported BioStrand's partnership with InterSystems to integrate vector search capabilities into ImmunoPrecise's LENSai platform. The platform combines biological sequence, structure, function, and scientific literature data into a searchable framework for artificial intelligence applications.

Fried stated that LENSai "solves a foundational problem—making biological data interoperable and computationally accessible at scale."
