IHS Towers announces passing of board member Frank Dangeard

IHS Holding Limited (NYSE: IHS) announced the death of board member Frank Dangeard, who served as an Independent Non-Executive Director since September 2020.
Dangeard was a member of the telecommunications infrastructure company's Board of Directors for approximately four and a half years. The company did not disclose the cause or date of his death.
"Frank was a kind and caring, highly respected colleague and advisor who brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to IHS," said Sam Darwish, Chairman and CEO of IHS Towers, in a statement. "His contributions to IHS were invaluable and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and worked with him."
IHS Towers operates more than 39,000 telecommunications towers across eight markets including Brazil, Cameroon, Colombia, Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa and Zambia. The company describes itself as one of the largest independent owners and operators of shared communications infrastructure globally by tower count.
The information was disclosed in a company press release statement.
