Halozyme elects Jim Lang to board of directors

Halozyme Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: HALO) announced the election of Jim Lang to its board of directors. Lang brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare, life sciences, business services and data analytics.
Lang most recently served as chief executive officer of EVERSANA, where he led the company's growth through the acquisition of over 20 companies, culminating in its merger with Waltz Health in August 2025. He remains on EVERSANA's board.
Previously, Lang served as CEO of Decision Resources Group, where he transformed the company into a healthcare data and analytics firm through expansion and acquisitions. He was also president of Strategic Decision Group, where he expanded the life sciences practice before selling it to IMS Health, now IQVIA.
Lang currently serves on the board of Biovie Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, where he chairs the audit committee and the nominating and corporate governance committee. He also serves on the board of OptimizeRx Corporation, a digital healthcare technology company, as chair of the compensation committee.

Lang earned a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Halozyme is a San Diego-based biopharmaceutical company that develops drug delivery technologies. The company's ENHANZE technology facilitates subcutaneous delivery of injected drugs and is licensed to pharmaceutical companies including Roche, Takeda, Pfizer and Janssen.
