Former DHS secretary Noem joins NOVARED Mining advisory board
NovaRed Mining Inc. (CSE: NRED) (OTCQB: NREDF) announced that Kristi Noem, former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security and current Special Envoy to the Shield of the Americas, has joined the company in a strategic advisory role.
Noem previously served as U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security in 2025, Governor of South Dakota from 2019 to 2025, and as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019.
Brian Goss, Chief Executive Officer of NovaRed Mining, said in a statement that Noem "brings exceptional leadership experience and a deep understanding of the policy, regulatory, and economic factors that influence infrastructure investment, resource development, and long-term economic growth."
Noem stated she looks forward to contributing her experience in public policy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning to support the company's objectives.
NovaRed is a mineral exploration company focused on copper-gold porphyry projects in British Columbia. The company uses an artificial intelligence-enhanced geospatial technology platform to identify and evaluate mineral properties. Its optioned Wilmac copper-gold project covers 16,078 hectares in the Similkameen Mining Division.
