Five Below adds Shake Shack CEO Robert Lynch to its board

Five Below, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIVE) has elected Robert Lynch as an independent director to its board of directors, effective immediately, bringing the board to nine members, according to a company statement.
Lynch currently serves as chief executive officer of Shake Shack, Inc. and has held that role along with a seat on Shake Shack's board since May 2024.
Before joining Shake Shack, Lynch served as president and chief executive officer of Papa John's International, Inc. He also held multiple positions at Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc., including president from August 2017 to August 2019, and previously worked at Taco Bell, H.J. Heinz Company, and Procter & Gamble. Lynch served on the board of directors at Kontoor Brands, Inc. from March 2021 to April 2026.
Mike Devine, chairman of Five Below, said Lynch's "broad experience in leading multi-unit consumer companies will be valuable" as the company pursues its long-term strategy.
Five Below operates more than 1,900 stores across 46 states and is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
