December 19, 2025 9:03 AM EST

ETHZilla Corporation (NASDAQ: ETHZ) announced the appointment of Angela Dalton and Michael Edwards as independent directors to its board, effective immediately.

Dalton serves as chief executive officer and founder of Signum Growth, a FINRA-registered broker dealer. She has more than 20 years of experience in technology, media, and digital ecosystems, with focus on video games, digital assets, and interactive platforms. Previously, Dalton held managing director positions at UBS, Evercore Partners, and Guggenheim Partners, and was a co-founder of Evercore Group LLC's equities business.

Edwards brings over two decades of strategic investment and transaction structuring experience. He began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston's Technology M&A Group before joining The D.E. Shaw Group in 2003, where he became a portfolio manager overseeing event-driven and risk arbitrage strategies. He later served in leadership roles at Arrowgrass Capital Partners and Weiss Advisors before founding his own strategic advisory business in 2024.

"Expanding and diversifying our board strengthens our ability to manage risk, evaluate capital allocation decisions and uphold strong governance standards," said McAndrew Rudisill, chairman and chief executive officer of ETHZilla.

ETHZilla operates in the decentralized finance industry, generating revenues through DeFi protocols and focusing on bringing traditional assets on-chain through tokenization. The company facilitates DeFi transactions and asset digitization across multiple Layer 2 Ethereum networks.

The appointments come as ETHZilla works to expand its blockchain infrastructure and tokenization capabilities, according to the company's press release.
