ETHZilla appoints two independent directors to board
ETHZilla Corporation (NASDAQ: ETHZ) announced the appointment of Angela Dalton and Michael Edwards as independent directors to its board, effective immediately.
Dalton serves as chief executive officer and founder of Signum Growth, a FINRA-registered broker dealer she established in 2018. She has over 20 years of experience in technology, media, and digital ecosystems, with focus on video games and digital assets. Previously, she held managing director positions at UBS, Evercore Partners, and Guggenheim Partners, and was a co-founder of Evercore Group LLC's equities business.
Edwards brings more than two decades of investment and transaction structuring experience. He began his career at Credit Suisse First Boston's Technology M&A Group before joining The D.E. Shaw Group in 2003 as a portfolio manager overseeing event-driven and risk arbitrage strategies. He later served as head of U.S. business at Arrowgrass Capital Partners and deputy chief investment officer of Weiss Advisors. In 2024, he founded a strategic advisory business.
"Expanding and diversifying our board strengthens our ability to manage risk, evaluate capital allocation decisions and uphold strong governance standards," said McAndrew Rudisill, chairman and chief executive officer of ETHZilla.
ETHZilla describes itself as a technology company in the decentralized finance industry that seeks to connect financial institutions through blockchain transactions using Ethereum network protocol implementations. The company generates revenues through DeFi protocols and offers tokenization solutions for traditional assets.
