EQUINIX appoints Yanbing Li to board of directors

Equinix, Inc. (NASDAQ: EQIX) announced the appointment of Dr. Yanbing Li to its board of directors. Li currently serves as Chief Product Officer at Datadog, where she leads product portfolio scaling efforts for global customers.

Li previously held senior roles at several technology companies. She served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Aurora, a company focused on autonomous driving technology, where she led software development for the company's autonomous driving product. At Google, she worked as Vice President of Product and Engineering, overseeing multiple Google Cloud product areas including Google Cloud Commerce and Cloud Operations. She also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Storage and Availability Business Unit at VMware.

Li has board experience, having previously served as a director for AVEVA and NeoPhotonics. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Princeton University and a master's degree in the same fields from Cornell University. She completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2014.

"She brings a proven track record for innovation and execution, having built market-leading products and scaled billion-dollar businesses at several of the world's leading technology companies."

The appointment was announced in a company press release on August 14.
