ECARX appoints Lone Foenss Schroeder to board

ECARX Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ECX) announced the appointment of Lone Foenss Schroeder as a director, effective October 31, 2025. She replaces Ni Li, who resigned from the board on the same day due to personal reasons.
Schroeder serves as Chairperson of Geely Sweden Holdings AB and IKEA's Ikano Bank, and chairs the Nomination Committee at Volvo Cars. She previously held CEO positions at Concordium, Wallenius Lines, and Star Air, and spent over 20 years in senior executive roles at A.P. Møller – Maersk.
The new director holds master's degrees in business and economics from Copenhagen Business School and in law from University of Copenhagen. She also studied Web3 Technologies at MIT Sloan School of Management.
ECARX develops automotive technology solutions including system on a chip components, central computing platforms, and software for electric vehicles. The company was founded in 2017 and listed on Nasdaq in 2022.
The company operates with over 1,600 employees across 13 locations in China, UK, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Sweden and Germany. ECARX products are installed in over 9.3 million vehicles worldwide, according to the company statement.
