DHT Holdings appoints Erik Bartnes to board of directors

DHT Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DHT) announced the appointment of Erik Bartnes to its board of directors, effective March 1, 2026.



Bartnes co-founded Hafnia Tankers in 2010 and served as executive chair until the merger between Hafnia Tankers and BW Tankers in January 2019. He remained a director on Hafnia's board until 2025.



Currently, Bartnes serves as chair of Castel AS and Trobo AS, and holds board positions at Pareto Asset Management AS and Premium Maritime Fund AS.



Bartnes co-founded Pareto AS and served as senior partner from 1988 and chair until April 2013. His previous board positions include Christiania Shipping A/S, Astrup Fearnley Holding AS, Eclipse Drilling AS, Eitzen Chemical ASA, Viking Cruises Ltd., and Ugland Shipping AS.



Bartnes holds a LizRerPol degree from University of Fribourg, Switzerland. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Switzerland.



DHT Holdings operates as an independent crude oil tanker company with a fleet of very large crude carriers (VLCC) that trade internationally. The company operates through integrated management companies in Monaco, Norway, Singapore, and India.
