Conduent names Michael Fucci to board of directors

Conduent Incorporated (NASDAQ: CNDT) appointed Michael J. Fucci to its board of directors, effective October 27, according to a company statement.

Fucci served as Deloitte US Chair from 2015 to 2019 and brings more than 40 years of leadership experience to the business solutions company. During his tenure as chair, he provided governance and strategic oversight on enterprise strategy, leadership succession, risk management, talent development, and executive compensation.

Fucci joined Deloitte's board of directors in 2012 and currently serves on the boards of Acadia Healthcare and Flotek Industries, Inc. He began his career with Deloitte's predecessor firm in 1981 and retired from the company in 2020 after serving in various roles including Chief Operating Officer.

"He is a highly respected global leader whose deep business acumen and strategic insight will be invaluable as we continue to execute our growth strategy," said Cliff Skelton, President and CEO of Conduent.

Conduent Chairman Harsha V. Agadi stated that Fucci's leadership perspective and experience in professional services will serve the company's stakeholders.

The Florham Park, New Jersey-based company provides digital business solutions and services across commercial, government and transportation sectors. Conduent employs approximately 56,000 associates globally and processes various transactions including government payments and tolling services.
