Chris Colpitts joins Celestica board of directors

Celestica Inc. (NYSE: CLS) announced the appointment of Chris Colpitts to its board of directors, according to a company statement. The appointment brings the board to nine members.
Colpitts has 20 years of experience in technology, media, and telecommunications sectors across investment banking and private equity. He currently serves as a founder at Granite Peak Capital Group and previously worked as a partner and head of telecommunications, media and technology in the US at CVC Capital Partners.
"His impressive track record in advising and investing in leading technology companies, coupled with his strategic acumen, will provide significant guidance as we navigate our next phase of innovation and expansion," said Mike Wilson, chair of Celestica's board of directors.
Celestica provides design, manufacturing, hardware platform and supply chain solutions for companies in aerospace and defense, communications, enterprise, health technology, and industrial sectors. The Toronto-based company operates across North America, Europe and Asia.
