Broadcom board member Hartenstein to retire in 2026

Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ: AVGO) announced that board member Eddy W. Hartenstein will retire from the company's board of directors at the conclusion of his term during the 2026 annual meeting of stockholders.

Hartenstein's retirement follows Broadcom's corporate governance guidelines, which call for board members to step down upon reaching age 75. The company stated his departure is not due to any disagreement with Broadcom.

Following Hartenstein's retirement, Broadcom's board will be reduced to eight members. The company thanked Hartenstein for his service and contributions during his tenure on the board.
