Belden appoints Adel Al-Saleh to board of directors

Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC) appointed Adel Al-Saleh as a director, effective immediately, according to a company statement.

Al-Saleh serves as chief executive officer and director of SES Satellites and brings over 30 years of senior management experience in information technology. His previous roles include CEO of T-Systems, a division of Deutsche Telekom, and CEO of Northgate Information Solutions. He also served as a board member for BT and as a member of the management board of Deutsche Telekom.

Al-Saleh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.

Belden describes itself as a global supplier of connection solutions and is headquartered in St. Louis with manufacturing capabilities in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
