AdvanSix names Jeffrey Bird to board effective January 2026

AdvanSix Inc. (NYSE: ASIX) announced the appointment of Jeffrey J. Bird as an independent director to its board of directors, effective January 1, 2026.
Bird currently serves as interim president and chief operating officer of Envent Corporation, a private environmental and industrial solutions provider for the petrochemical industry. He has been a member of Envent's board of advisors since January 2025 and serves as a director of Heath Consultants, which specializes in methane detection.
The appointment brings AdvanSix's board to ten members, including nine independent directors. Bird will serve on the audit committee and the health, safety and environmental committee.
Bird previously held leadership positions at Dril-Quip, an offshore drilling and production equipment manufacturer, where he served as president, chief executive officer and director. He joined Dril-Quip in 2017 as chief financial officer and advanced through various roles including president and chief operating officer.
Prior to Dril-Quip, Bird was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Frank's International, a provider of engineered tubular services to the oil and gas industry. He also served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Ascend Performance Materials, a chemicals, fibers and plastics provider.
Earlier in his career, Bird held accounting and finance roles in industrial manufacturing, including a division chief financial officer position at Danaher Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Cedarville University in Ohio.
AdvanSix operates five manufacturing facilities in the United States and produces materials for building and construction, fertilizers, agrochemicals, plastics, solvents, packaging, paints, coatings, adhesives and electronics markets.
