AdvanSix adds two independent directors to board

AdvanSix Inc. (NYSE: ASIX) announced the appointment of Dana O'Brien and Daryl Roberts as independent members of its board of directors, according to a company press release.



O'Brien recently retired as senior vice president and chief legal officer of Olin Corporation, a chemical products manufacturer. She will serve on the nominating and governance committee and the compensation and leadership development committee.



Roberts currently serves as senior vice president and chief operations and engineering officer of DuPont de Nemours Inc. He will join the health, safety and environmental committee and the compensation and leadership development committee.



The appointments expand AdvanSix's board to nine members, including eight independent directors. The Parsippany, New Jersey-based diversified chemistry company operates five U.S.-based manufacturing facilities.



O'Brien previously held senior legal positions at The Brink's Company, CenterPoint Energy, CEVA Logistics and EGL Inc. Roberts has been with DuPont since 2018 and previously worked at Arkema S.A., Total Energy and Eastman Kodak. He also served as a U.S. Army officer in the chemical corps reserves.

AdvanSix produces materials for building and construction, fertilizers, agrochemicals, plastics, solvents, packaging, paints, coatings, adhesives and electronics markets.
