Acceleware appoints three advisors, grants 1.4 million stock options

Acceleware Ltd. (TSX-V: AXE) appointed three new members to its advisory board and granted stock options to acquire up to 1.4 million common shares to advisors and directors.



The Calgary-based RF heating technology company announced September 12, 2025 appointments of Juan Benitez, Jason de Jong and Ryan Cross to its advisory board. The new members join returning advisors Cal Coulter, Sean David and Don Verdonck, while John Howard, Jeff Reading and Chad Robinson stepped down from the board.



Benitez previously served as a venture partner at BDC Capital and executive business advisor with Alberta Innovates. He spent six years at Cenovus Energy where he co-founded Evok Innovations and managed the corporate venture capital fund portfolio.



De Jong has worked in the Canadian energy industry since 1995, consulting as an energy resource project developer since 2004. His experience spans conventional oil and gas production, thermal heavy oil recovery, combined steam and power generation, and hydrogen production.



Cross brings more than 30 years of experience in energy and clean technology, leading operations, commercialization and business development in carbon capture, renewables and emerging energy technologies.



The company granted 1,445,000 stock options with an exercise price of $0.09 per common share, expiring September 12, 2030. The options vest in two equal tranches on the first and second anniversaries of the grant date. Following the grant, 11,007,466 common shares remain reserved under outstanding options, with 2,036,560 shares available for future issuance under the stock option plan.



Acceleware develops RF power-to-heat technologies for industrial applications including process heat for critical minerals, amine regeneration and enhanced oil production. The stock option grant requires regulatory approval.
