ANI Pharmaceuticals announces board leadership changes

ANI Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ANIP) announced that Chairman Patrick D. Walsh will retire from the board of directors after completing his current term through the company's 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

Walsh has stepped down from his position as Chairman. The board unanimously elected Thomas J. Haughey as the next Chairman. Haughey has served as a board member since May 2018.

"It has been a privilege to serve as ANI's Chairman and contribute to its significant growth and success," Walsh said in a statement. "I am immensely proud of the evolution of ANI's business and am confident in the team's ability to continue to advance its business and purpose of Serving Patients, Improving Lives."

Nikhil Lalwani, President and CEO of ANI, said Walsh served as a trusted advisor for over seven years. Lalwani expressed gratitude for Walsh's mentorship and contributions to patient care and shareholder value creation.

As Haughey assumes the Chairman role, he will step down as Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee. Jeanne Thoma, who has been a board member since August 2020, will take over as Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee. Thoma currently serves as a member of both the Audit and Finance Committee and the Compensation Committee.

Haughey will continue serving as a member of the Audit and Finance Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

"I am honored to lead as Chairman of ANI's Board and have great conviction in the ANI team across its core businesses," Haughey stated.

ANI Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and commercializes therapeutics through its Rare Disease, Generics and Brands business segments.
