Affiliated Managers Group Inc. (NYSE: AMG) announced the appointment of Marcy Engel to its board of directors, effective September 30, 2025. The company also announced that Dwight D. Churchill will retire from the board on the same date after 15 years of service.

Engel previously served on the board of directors of Sculptor Capital Management Inc. from June 2018 through its acquisition by Rithm Capital Corp. in 2023, including as chairperson from 2021 to 2023. She was chief operating officer and general counsel at Eton Park Capital Management L.P., a global alternatives investment firm, where she oversaw non-investment business operations. Before joining Eton Park in 2005, she worked at Citigroup and predecessor firms Salomon Smith Barney and Salomon Brothers Inc., serving as managing deputy general counsel of Citigroup's Global Corporate and Investment Bank.

Churchill joined AMG's board in February 2010 and has held various leadership positions including chair of the audit committee and board chair. "Upon completing fifteen rewarding years of service on AMG's Board of Directors, I have decided that now is the right time to retire," Churchill said in the announcement.

AMG Chair Loren M. Starr said the company is pleased to welcome Engel given her experience in financial services and board service at a public alternative manager. CEO Jay C. Horgen noted Churchill's contributions during his tenure and expressed appreciation for his leadership.

AMG reported aggregate assets under management of approximately $771 billion as of June 30, 2025, across private markets, liquid alternative, and long-only investment strategies.
