Wyndham Hotels names Kurt Albert interim CFO as Michele Allen departs

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: WH) announced that Chief Financial Officer Michele Allen will leave the company to pursue opportunities outside the hotel industry. Kurt Albert, currently treasurer and head of financial partnerships and planning, has been appointed interim CFO effective immediately.



Allen, who served as CFO and head of strategy, spent over 25 years with Wyndham. She will remain in an advisory role through the end of 2025 to support the transition. The company plans to conduct a comprehensive search for a permanent CFO, considering both internal and external candidates.



"Michele has been an invaluable member of the Wyndham team for over 25 years," said Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO. "Her exceptional financial acumen and strategic vision have helped steer Wyndham through many pivotal moments."



Albert has served as treasurer and head of financial partnerships and planning since May 2024. Prior to that role, he held several leadership positions within the treasury and financial planning and analysis functions, spending more than 15 years in the company's finance department.



The company reaffirmed its full-year 2025 outlook provided in its third-quarter 2025 earnings materials released on October 22, 2025.



Wyndham operates approximately 8,300 hotels across approximately 100 countries through its franchising network, making it the world's largest hotel franchising company by number of franchised properties.
