Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Inc. (NYSE: WH) appointed Amit Sripathi as chief financial officer, effective immediately, the company announced March 3. Sripathi, who previously served as the company's chief development officer for North America, replaces Kurt Albert, who had been serving as interim CFO since November.
The company also named David Wilner as chief development officer for North America. Wilner brings 30 years of franchise sales experience and has worked at Wyndham for nearly eight years. Both executives will report to CEO Geoff Ballotti.
Sripathi joined Wyndham in 2021 and has held various leadership positions within the company. Before joining Wyndham, he worked at RLJ Lodging Trust in capital markets and corporate finance roles, and previously served in the real estate, lodging and gaming investment banking group at Deutsche Bank.
During his tenure at Wyndham, Sripathi helped the company achieve 20 consecutive quarters of organic net room growth and oversaw the divestiture of company-owned hotels. In his new role as CFO, he will focus on maintaining the company's financial discipline and capital allocation strategy.
Wilner will lead North American franchise sales and architecture design and construction teams. During his time at the company, he helped create and launch ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham. Prior to Wyndham, Wilner spent 20 years in franchise sales leadership at La Quinta.
In conjunction with the leadership changes, Wyndham reaffirmed its full-year 2026 outlook that was provided in its fourth-quarter 2025 earnings materials released February 18.
The information is based on a company press release.
