Winmark names Keith Credendino to board, Jenele Grassle to step down

Winmark Corporation (NASDAQ: WINA) announced board changes with Keith Credendino joining as a new director and Jenele Grassle deciding not to seek re-election at the April 2026 annual meeting.

Grassle, who joined Winmark's board in 2001, currently serves on both the Compensation and Nominating Committees. She has served for 24 years and led efforts to enhance the company's governance structure by adding term limits.

Credendino brings over 25 years of executive and technology leadership experience to his new role on Winmark's Board of Directors and Audit Committee. He currently serves as Chief Information and Technology Officer at Macy's Inc. (NYSE: M), overseeing technology for the Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Bluemercury brands.

Prior to Macy's, Credendino held the position of Senior Vice President of Digital Technology & Enterprise Data at Inspire Brands, a multi-brand restaurant company. His previous experience includes technology executive roles at The Home Depot, InterContinental Hotels Group and Cox Enterprises.

"His expertise in delivering technology solutions across a variety of retail and franchise companies will be invaluable to Winmark and our franchisees as we enhance our technology offerings," stated Brett Heffes, Chair and Chief Executive Officer.

Winmark operates as a franchisor of resale retail concepts including Plato's Closet, Once Upon A Child, Play It Again Sports, Style Encore and Music Go Round. As of June 28, 2025, the company had 1,371 franchises in operation with over 2,800 available territories. An additional 77 franchises have been awarded but are not yet open.
