WW International (NASDAQ: WW) announced its Weight Watchers Med+ program is now accessible through Eli Lilly's LillyDirect digital healthcare platform. The integration allows LillyDirect customers to connect with Weight Watchers' clinical care program that combines GLP-1 medications with behavioral support services.
LillyDirect provides patients access to independent care options, pharmacy fulfillment resources and educational materials. Weight Watchers Med+ offers clinical care from licensed providers alongside nutrition and community support for patients using prescription weight management medications.
"A seamless connection from LillyDirect is central to expanding access while ensuring patients are supported beyond the prescription," said Scott Honken, Chief Commercial Officer at Weight Watchers. "Weight Watchers Med+ is designed to support patients with the clinical and behavioral care they need to navigate weight health in real life."
The Weight Watchers Med+ platform includes GLP-1 Success program support and serves patients exploring medication options, currently taking GLP-1 or other obesity medications, or seeking long-term support. The program combines FDA-approved treatments with nutritional, behavioral and lifestyle support.
Weight Watchers operates affiliated medical groups and describes itself as a science-backed weight management company. The company has provided weight management services for more than 60 years and offers programs directly to consumers and through Weight Watchers for Business to employers and health plans.
