Texas Roadhouse appoints White Castle CEO Lisa Ingram to board

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. (NASDAQ: TXRH) appointed Lisa Ingram to its board of directors, the company announced.



Ingram serves as chief executive officer and chair of the board for White Castle System, Inc., based in Columbus, Ohio. White Castle operates 340 restaurants across 14 states and owns six manufacturing plants that supply products to its restaurants and consumer goods sold in grocery stores nationwide.



Ingram has led White Castle since 2015 and represents the fourth generation of her family to head the 105-year-old hamburger chain. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Ohio State University.



"We are excited to have Lisa join our Board of Directors," said Jerry Morgan, Texas Roadhouse chief executive officer and executive vice chairman of the board. "Lisa literally grew up in the restaurant business and knows what it takes to lead a highly successful, and founder-inspired company."



Ingram also serves as chair of the board of OhioHealth and sits on the board of M/I Homes (NYSE: MHO).



Texas Roadhouse operates over 820 restaurants across 49 states, one U.S. territory, and ten foreign countries. The casual dining chain opened its first location in 1993.
