Sunbit, a financial technology company, appointed Shachar G. Scott as chief marketing officer. Scott brings more than 25 years of experience in global brand building and scaling across technology and consumer products.

Scott most recently served as vice president of global marketing for Meta's Reality Labs (NASDAQ: META), where she led a 250-person global organization. She previously held leadership roles at Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL), Bumble (NASDAQ: BMBL), and Snap (NYSE: SNAP).

At Sunbit, Scott will oversee global marketing functions including brand, product marketing, growth, communications and community initiatives. Her role comes as the company expands into new products, verticals and partnerships.

"As we enter our next stage of growth, Shachar's leadership will extend the scope and scale of awareness in the market," said Arad Levertov, co-founder and CEO of Sunbit.

The Los Angeles-based company provides buy now, pay later services and financial technology products. Sunbit reports serving 5.3 million loan customers through its platform and maintains $1.4 billion in funding capacity from partners including J.P. Morgan and Citi.

The company operates at more than 60% of auto dealership service centers and positions itself as the second-largest dental patient financing solution. Sunbit offers services through retailers, service providers, and platforms including Stripe.

Scott previously helped scale Bumble's brand globally ahead of its IPO and held senior positions at Snap and Apple. At Meta, she managed brand and marketing campaigns for consumer technologies within the Reality Labs division.
