SunCar expands partnership with XPeng for G7 model insurance services

SunCar Technology Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SDA) announced it has entered a new phase of strategic cooperation with electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV) to provide insurance services for XPeng's G7 model.
The companies have maintained a comprehensive partnership since October 2022. At the end of 2023, SunCar upgraded its Anji Cloud Service Center with new service capabilities to provide XPeng car owners with customized auto insurance services.
With the launch of the XPeng G7 model, SunCar will continue providing XPeng car owners with auto insurance solutions in China. The G7 model features advanced intelligent driving, ultra-fast charging, and luxury tech features.
SunCar operates cloud-based platforms that connect drivers with auto services and insurance coverage options through a nationwide network of sales partners in China. The company utilizes artificial intelligence and big data analytics to customize insurance solutions for XPeng vehicles.
Founded in 2007, SunCar develops cloud-based platforms for auto services and insurance in China's passenger vehicle market. The company's platform allows enterprise customers to access, manage, and optimize their auto insurance and service offerings.
The information was disclosed in a company press release issued Tuesday.
