Sotera Health adds former Timken CEO Richard Kyle to board

Sotera Health Company (NASDAQ: SHC) appointed Richard G. Kyle as an independent director to its board of directors. Kyle will serve on the Leadership Development and Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
Kyle served as president and chief executive officer of The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR) from May 2014 to September 2024. At Timken, a global manufacturer of bearings, transmissions, and industrial motion products, Kyle led the company's financial transformation and strategic diversification efforts.
Before becoming CEO at Timken, Kyle held senior leadership roles including chief operating officer and president of multiple business segments. He previously worked in leadership positions at Hubbell Incorporated and Cooper Industries.
"Richard's leadership experience as a public company CEO and his extensive experience in operations and governance will serve as tremendous assets as we continue to grow," said Michael B. Petras, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of Sotera Health.
Kyle continues to serve on Timken's board of directors and has been a director at Sonoco Products Company (NYSE: SON) since 2015, where he chairs the Executive Compensation Committee. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Northwestern University.
Sotera Health provides sterilization solutions, lab testing and advisory services for the healthcare industry through its Sterigenics, Nordion and Nelson Labs businesses.
