Sokoman Minerals adds director, grants 6 million stock options

Sokoman Minerals Corp. (TSXV: SIC) (OTCQB: SICNF) appointed Wanda Cutler to its board of directors, according to a company statement.



Cutler serves as founder and president of Cutler McCarthy Inc. and brings 25 years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, corporate governance and strategic advisory roles in the resource sector. Her previous positions include board roles at Chablis Capital Corp., Route 109 Resources, Quebec Precious Metals, Vanstar Mining, Li-FT Power, and Imagine Lithium.



She previously held the position of head of corporate development at Amex Exploration and senior investor relations and advisory roles with Nemaska Lithium, Energy Fuels, Treasury Metals, and Pinetree Capital. Cutler holds a bachelor's degree in social science from the University of Ottawa.



"Her deep expertise in capital markets, governance, and investor communications, coupled with her extensive network in the resource sector, will add tremendous value as we advance the Moosehead Gold Project and our broader exploration portfolio," said Denis Laviolette, director, executive chairman and chief executive of Sokoman.



The company also granted 6 million stock options to directors and consultants. The options vest immediately and are exercisable at $0.14 per common share for five years.



Sokoman Minerals operates gold projects in Newfoundland and Labrador, including the Moosehead project, Crippleback Lake project, and Fleur de Lys project. The company maintains strategic alliances with Benton Resources Inc. through joint-venture properties including Grey River, Golden Hope, and Kepenkeck.
