Serco North America names Andy Henson as chief technology officer
Serco North America appointed Andy Henson as chief technology officer, the company announced. Henson previously held senior leadership positions at SAIC, where he led advanced analytics and solution delivery initiatives within the company's Solutions and Technology team, Intelligence Community portfolio, and Defense Agencies and Combatant Commands market.
Before joining SAIC, Henson worked at Booz Allen Hamilton. His experience includes supporting U.S. European Command during the early stages of the war in Ukraine, where he helped introduce new capabilities, according to the company statement.
"His experience delivering technology solutions across complex environments in can't-fail situations and his focus on execution will help us deliver faster and better outcomes for our customers," said Michael LaRouche, chief executive officer of Serco North America.
In his new role, Henson will lead the company's technology strategy and drive innovation initiatives. The appointment represents part of what the company describes as strategic hiring efforts aimed at accelerating solution delivery in mission-critical areas.
Serco Inc., headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, employs approximately 10,000 people and reports annual revenue of $2 billion. The company is a subsidiary of Serco Group plc, which generates $5 billion in revenue internationally.
