Seabourn announced that its ship Seabourn Encore will sail to Alaska and British Columbia for the first time in 2026, offering 17 seven-day sailings and one eight-day sailing between May and September.
The cruise line, owned by Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL), will operate 18 total voyages that can be combined into 14- or 15-day itineraries. The ship will visit destinations including Juneau and Ketchikan, as well as smaller locations like Alert Bay and the Inian Islands that larger vessels cannot access.
Seabourn stated it will offer more sailings into Glacier Bay National Park than any other luxury cruise line during the 2026 season. Every voyage will include a glacier viewing experience, according to the company.
"Alaska continues to be one of the most sought-after destinations for our guests, and we are thrilled to bring Seabourn Encore to the region for the very first time," said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn.
The Alaska program will feature the company's Ventures by Seabourn excursion program, which includes kayaking and Zodiac boat tours led by expedition team members. Guests will receive complimentary Helly Hansen weather jackets, and those in Premium Suites will have access to Swarovski Optik binoculars.
Specific voyages will coincide with seasonal events, including a summer solstice departure on June 19, 2026, and a sailing timed with the Perseid meteor shower beginning August 7, 2026. Holiday-themed cruises are scheduled around Memorial Day and Independence Day.
The Seabourn Encore features all-suite accommodations with private verandas and dining venues including Sushi and Solis restaurants.
