Sabre, PayPal and Mindtrip form AI travel booking partnership

February 12, 2026 9:02 AM EST

Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), PayPal Holdings (NASDAQ: PYPL), and Mindtrip announced a partnership to develop an AI-powered travel booking platform scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2026.

The collaboration combines Mindtrip's conversational AI platform, PayPal's payment technology, and Sabre's enterprise travel infrastructure. The system will allow travelers to describe destinations and preferences in natural language, receive personalized recommendations, and complete bookings within a single interface.

The platform will initially support flight bookings, with hotel reservations added in subsequent phases. Users will interact with an AI assistant to search for travel options, refine selections through conversation, and complete payments without switching between multiple websites or applications.

"We believe consumer behavior will continue to shift towards conversational commerce, and we see our role as helping the travel industry seize this opportunity," said Garry Wiseman, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Sabre.

PayPal will provide payment processing, identity verification, and checkout functionality. The company will offer flexible payment options including its Pay Later solution and purchase protection for eligible transactions.

Sabre's platform will handle real-time shopping, pricing, availability, and booking services. The system includes access to over 420 airlines and 2 million lodging options through Sabre's Mosaic platform.

Mindtrip, founded in 2023 in Silicon Valley, developed the conversational AI interface that serves as the primary user experience for the platform.

"Today, in partnership with PayPal and Sabre, we're realizing that vision," said Andy Moss, CEO and co-founder of Mindtrip. "Rather than bouncing between search tools, booking sites and payment screens, travelers will have the ability to discover, plan, book, and pay for a trip in one continuous, intuitive, trusted, conversational experience."
