Rexford Industrial names David Stockert to board effective Jan. 1

Rexford Industrial Realty Inc. (NYSE: REXR) announced the appointment of David Stockert to its board of directors, effective January 1, 2026.

Stockert serves as a general partner of Sweetwater Opportunity Funds, Atlanta-based private real estate investment funds, a position he has held since 2019. He previously served as chief executive officer and president of Post Properties Inc. from 2002 until 2016, when the company merged with Mid-America Apartment Communities Inc. (NYSE: MAA). Stockert continues to serve on MAA's board of directors.

Between 1995 and 2000, Stockert held senior leadership roles at Duke Realty Corporation and Weeks Corporation, both industrial REITs. He later served on Duke Realty's board from 2017 until Prologis (NYSE: PLD) acquired the company in 2022. From 2019 to 2022, he served as lead independent director of Duke Realty.

Rexford Industrial is a real estate investment trust focused on industrial properties in Southern California. As of September 30, 2025, the company's portfolio comprised 420 properties with approximately 50.9 million rentable square feet.
