Royalty Management Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: RMCO) announced it reached an agreement with a promissory note holder to convert debt into restricted common stock at current share prices. The transaction increased the company's shareholder equity to just over $14 million.
The debt-to-equity conversion allows the royalty company to redirect cash flow from operations toward investments in critical minerals, alternative currencies and royalty opportunities, according to a company statement.
"We are pleased to have this debt holder of the Company show his confidence in our growth trajectory to agree to convert his promissory notes into restricted shares of common stock," said Thomas Sauve, chief executive officer.
The company stated the balance sheet improvement provides increased flexibility to invest excess cash flow in new and existing opportunities. RMCO identified several investment areas of interest, including critical minerals and infrastructure-based metals, gold and precious metals, data centers and storage facilities, and environmental improvement streaming opportunities.
Royalty Management describes itself as a royalty company that acquires and develops assets across various resource-driven and emerging technology industries. The company's business model focuses on acquiring and structuring cash flow streams around assets.
The announcement did not specify the dollar amount of debt converted or the number of shares issued in the transaction. The company stated it continues evaluating multiple opportunities that could contribute to future cash flow generation.
