REV Exploration adds Laurie Thomas to board of directors

REV Exploration Corp. (TSXV: REVX; OTC: REVFF; FSE: 7FF) appointed Laurie M. Thomas to its board of directors, the Vancouver-based mineral exploration company announced.



Thomas brings nearly 20 years of experience in capital markets and financial leadership within the resource and energy sectors. She spent nearly 12 years at Cameco Corporation (TSX: CCO; NYSE: CCJ), where she served as Manager of Investor Relations and participated in international marketing roadshows across multiple continents.



At Cameco, Thomas managed relationships with institutional investors and analysts while handling project accounting across international operations. Following her tenure there, she held senior executive roles at several junior resource companies, including Vice President positions at UEX Corporation, Standard Uranium Ltd., and MAS Gold Corporation.



Thomas previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Riverboat Energy Corp., leading the company through its qualifying transaction and reverse takeover listing process. She currently serves as Strategic Advisor to Kincora Copper Limited (TSXV: KCC / ASX: KCC).



Her board experience includes roles as Director and Audit Committee Chair at F3 Uranium Corp., a six-year term with the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Saskatchewan, and service on the Meadow Lake Tribal Council Industrial Investments Board.



Thomas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and maintains credentials as a Fellow of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute, Chartered Professional Accountant, and Certified Management Accountant.



REV Exploration focuses on helium and natural hydrogen exploration in the Northern Great Plains and Southern Alberta. The company holds oil and gas leasehold interests covering approximately 14,000 acres in Montana and petroleum and natural gas leases in Alberta along the Alberta-Montana border.
