ProCap Financial nominates Bill Koutsouras and Bill Miller IV to board
ProCap BTC announced that Bill Koutsouras and Bill H. Miller IV have been nominated for appointment to the board of directors of ProCap Financial, Inc., following a proposed business combination with Columbus Circle Capital Corp I (NASDAQ: BRR).
Koutsouras will serve as Lead Independent Director and Chair of ProCap Financial's Audit Committee, while Miller will serve as an Independent Director. The appointments will be effective upon completion of the business combination.
The board will include ProCap CEO Anthony Pompliano, Eric Jackson, and Gary Quin alongside the new appointees.
Koutsouras brings over 20 years of public company board experience and currently serves as Lead Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Galaxy Digital Inc. (NASDAQ: GLXY). He also serves as Independent Director of Wheaton Precious Metals International, a subsidiary of Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (NYSE: WPM). Since 2011, he has been President and Director of Kouts Capital, an investment and advisory services company.
Miller serves as Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of Miller Value Partners, LLC. He has managed portfolios at Miller Value Partners since 2008, focusing on high-yielding securities in specialty finance and consumer sectors.
ProCap BTC describes itself as a modern financial services firm leveraging bitcoin and has raised more than $750 million from investors. The company entered into a Business Combination Agreement with Columbus Circle Capital Corp I to create ProCap Financial, Inc.
