PharmaCyte Biotech sells Femasys stake, boosts cash to $20 million
PharmaCyte Biotech Inc. (NASDAQ: PMCB) announced it sold its stake in Femasys Inc. (NASDAQ: FEMY), according to a company statement.
The transaction increased PharmaCyte's cash and marketable securities to approximately $20 million from $13.3 million as of July 31, 2025. The company reported having approximately $25 million in marketable securities and roughly $20 million in cash, including proceeds from the Femasys sale.
"Our successful monetization of the Femasys position demonstrates the effectiveness of our strategic and disciplined capital allocation approach," said Josh Silverman, PharmaCyte Chief Executive Officer.
PharmaCyte's stock trades at $0.65 per share with approximately 6.8 million shares outstanding. The Las Vegas-based biotechnology company develops cellular therapies for cancer, diabetes, and other diseases.
The company stated it plans to continue pursuing investment opportunities and operational management to enhance shareholder returns.
