Pelagos Insurance Capital Limited will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "PLGO," the company announced. The specialty insurance and reinsurance firm was previously known as Fidelis Insurance Holdings Limited and traded under the symbol "FIHL."
The ticker change follows the company's rebrand from Fidelis Insurance Group to Pelagos Insurance Capital, which became effective May 11 after shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting on April 28.
The Bermuda-based company will report its first-quarter financial results after market close on May 13, as previously scheduled. An earnings call is planned for 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time on May 14.
Pelagos Insurance Capital operates as a capital allocator and risk selector in specialty insurance and reinsurance markets. The company deploys capital through partnerships with underwriting firms and maintains operations focused on specialty risk coverage.
The rebrand represents a name change only, with no changes to the company's business operations or strategic direction, according to the press release statement.
