Orion names Jonathan Puckett as chief financial officer

Orion S.A. (NYSE: OEC) announced that Jonathan Puckett will succeed Jeff Glajch as chief financial officer, effective December 1, 2025.
Puckett brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience, primarily within the chemical industry. He joins Orion after 14 years with Celanese (NYSE: CE), where he most recently served as vice president and CFO for the Acetyl Chain segment. During his tenure at Celanese, Puckett held various senior financial business unit and corporate roles.
Prior to Celanese, Puckett worked in senior financial positions at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., PWC LLP, and KPMG LLP.
Glajch announced his intention to retire as CFO at the end of 2025 in July. He will remain as a full-time employee through December 31, 2025, and will provide consulting services during the first quarter of 2026 to facilitate the transition.
Orion CEO Corning Painter stated that Puckett's "broad functional skillset, deep financial expertise and demonstrated success in helping businesses execute on both financial and strategic goals make him an excellent fit for our company, particularly as we navigate our next phase of growth and profitability."
Orion S.A. is a specialty chemicals company that produces carbon black, which is used in tires, coatings, ink, batteries, plastics and other applications. The company operates 15 production plants worldwide and four innovation centers.
