OncoC4 appoints Shiniu Wei as chief financial officer

OncoC4, Inc., a late-stage biopharmaceutical company, announced the appointment of Shiniu Wei as chief financial officer. Wei brings nearly 20 years of financial strategy and business development experience in healthcare and finance.

Wei previously served as CFO and vice president of investor relations at GenScript Biotech (HK: 1548), where he managed financial strategy across a conglomerate with over $1 billion in annual revenue. He led fundraising initiatives in Hong Kong and U.S. markets and played a role in the NASDAQ listing of Legend Biotech, a GenScript subsidiary.

"Shiniu is a strategic executive with diverse capital markets expertise and established relationships within the financial community," said Yang Liu, co-founder, CEO and chief scientific officer of OncoC4.

Before GenScript, Wei held positions at Fosun Insurance Group as executive director of secondary market investments, managing equity portfolios across the U.S. and China. His earlier roles included senior analyst and co-portfolio manager at ISF Management, LLC, and analyst at Protocol Capital Management, LLC. Wei holds an MBA in finance and economics from Baruch College and a bachelor's degree from Nanjing University.

OncoC4, based in Rockville, Maryland, develops cancer and immunological disease treatments. The company's pipeline includes AI-081, a bispecific antibody targeting PD-1 and VEGF currently in Phase 1/2 trials, and gotistobart, an anti-CTLA-4 antibody developed in collaboration with BioNTech for solid tumor indications.
