NextPlat Corp (NASDAQ: NXPL) announced that its Global Telesat Communications subsidiary received new satellite-enabled Internet of Things hardware orders valued at approximately $400,000. The contracts support an existing military customer in Eastern Europe and a new customer in Asia, according to a company statement.
The orders include hardware from satellite providers Globalstar and Iridium. Global Telesat Communications has secured new IoT product orders valued at over $1.2 million through the first quarter of 2026.
The contracts follow an $820,000 agreement GTC received for satellite-enabled terminals and related hardware supporting a NATO military customer. NextPlat operates through subsidiaries providing healthcare and technology solutions via e-commerce channels.
"These IoT orders are evidence that demand for advanced connectivity solutions is growing, adding significantly to our government and military sales pipeline," said David Phipps, CEO of NextPlat and Managing Director of GTC.
The Hallandale Beach, Florida-based company operates an e-commerce communications division offering voice, data, tracking and IoT products globally. NextPlat also provides pharmacy and healthcare data management services in the United States through its Progressive Care subsidiary.
