NewcelX updates presentation to highlight diabetes program collaboration
NewcelX Ltd. (NASDAQ: NCEL) released an updated corporate presentation featuring its strategic collaboration with Eledon Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ELDN) and its Type 1 diabetes program NCEL-101, according to a company statement.
The presentation outlines the integration of NewcelX's stem-cell-derived islet replacement platform with Eledon's investigational anti-CD40L monoclonal antibody tegoprubart, designed to prevent immune-mediated transplant rejection. The companies stated this approach aims to support graft survival and advance development of a potential treatment for Type 1 diabetes.
NewcelX management plans to present the updated materials to investors and industry participants at the Swiss Biotech Conference, where the company will outline its strategy and development vision for the Type 1 diabetes program.
NewcelX is a clinical-stage regenerative medicine company developing stem-cell-derived therapies. The company's lead program, NCEL-101, is designed to restore insulin production through cell replacement therapy using a human pluripotent stem cell platform.
