NetraMark Holdings Inc. (TSX: AIAI) (OTCQB: AINMF) (Frankfurt: PF0) announced the appointment of Dr. Panteli Theocharous as fractional chief medical officer, according to a company press release.

Dr. Theocharous currently serves as chief therapeutics and clinical strategy officer and president of Europe at Worldwide Clinical Trials and will continue in that role. He holds FIBMS, M.S., Ph.D., and FRCPath credentials.

In his new position, Dr. Theocharous will work with NetraMark's executive team to guide clinical strategy and translate NetraAI insights into decisions across trial design and patient stratification, the company stated.

NetraMark develops artificial intelligence solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on clinical trial analytics. The company's NetraAI platform uses algorithms to parse patient datasets into subsets for analysis.

"Dr. Theocharous operates at a high level of clinical strategy within the global drug development ecosystems," said George Achilleos, CEO of NetraMark. "His decision to join us reflects both the strength of our technology and the growing recognition that the future of clinical trials will be driven by explainable AI."

Dr. Theocharous stated that NetraMark addresses "a fundamental problem in clinical development - the inability of conventional approaches to fully account for patient variability."

The appointment follows the departure of Dr. Larry Alphs as chief medical officer. Dr. Alphs will continue as an advisor to the company, NetraMark said.

NetraMark trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange, OTCQB market, and Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The company is based in Toronto.
