NielsenIQ (NYSE: NIQ) announced an extended multi-year agreement with Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE: SBH), expanding their existing partnership to include additional data services and consumer insights capabilities.
Under the renewed agreement, NIQ will continue as Sally Beauty's exclusive provider of key account trade area data for brand partners and remain the panel provider for consumer insights. The expanded collaboration will now include NIQ's Full View Measurement and Expanded Omnishopper services, which provide omnichannel beauty performance data and consumer behavior insights.
The enhanced partnership aims to provide Sally Beauty with granular insights into shopper journeys across brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, and hybrid channels. The agreement also expands visibility into market performance including Amazon storefronts through Full View's measurement capabilities.
"At Sally Beauty, we are committed to staying at the forefront of beauty retail," said Bryan DeYoung, Senior Vice President of Merchandising Operations and Global Sourcing at Sally Beauty. "This enhanced partnership with NIQ strengthens our ability to drive innovation, collaborate with our brand partners, and deliver value to the professional and at home beauty communities we serve."
Sally Beauty operates over 2,000 retail stores across the United States and distributes professional beauty supplies through its Sally Beauty Supply and Beauty Systems Group businesses. The company offers up to 7,000 products through various proprietary and professional brands.
NIQ provides consumer intelligence services across over 90 countries, covering approximately 85% of the world's population and more than $7.2 trillion in global consumer spending, according to the company's press release.
