Mullen Automotive to change name to Bollinger Innovations, ticker to BINI
Mullen Automotive Inc. (NASDAQ: MULN) announced plans to change its company name to Bollinger Innovations, Inc., with NASDAQ approving a new stock symbol BINI. The effective date for the name and symbol change has not been determined.
The electric vehicle manufacturer also announced it will rebrand its Oceanside, California Commercial Vehicle Center to Bollinger Innovations, Inc. The facility, located near Interstate 5 in San Diego County, is scheduled to open August 15, 2025.
"The new branded consolidated Company continues to move forward full steam ahead with solid product offering around Commercial Class 1, 3 and 4," said David Michery, CEO and chairman of both Bollinger Innovations, Inc. and Bollinger Motors, Inc.
Mullen's commercial vehicle lineup includes the Mullen ONE Class 1 cargo van and Mullen THREE Class 3 cab chassis truck, both certified by the Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board. The company also offers the Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab, a Class 4 electric truck with a 158-kWh battery pack, 185-mile range, and 7,325-pound payload capacity.
The company operates a 120,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Tunica, Mississippi, where it began commercial vehicle production in August 2023. Mullen's dealer network includes seven dealers across West Coast, Midwest, Pacific Northwest, New England, and Mid-Atlantic markets.
Bollinger Motors became a majority-owned subsidiary of Mullen Automotive in September 2022. The Michigan-based company launched production of its B4 Class 4 electric truck on September 16, 2024, and has developed a dealer network with over 50 locations nationwide.
