Motorola Solutions adds Phillips 66 CEO Mark Lashier to board

Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) appointed Mark Lashier to its board of directors, the company announced. Lashier serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Phillips 66 (NYSE: PSX).
Lashier brings over 30 years of experience in executive leadership roles within the energy and petrochemical industries. He has served as president and CEO of Phillips 66 and previously led Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC as president and CEO.
"I'm pleased to have Mark join our board and welcome a fellow CEO and his experience and insights," said Greg Brown, chairman and CEO of Motorola Solutions. "I believe he will be a valuable asset as we continue to innovate, invest and grow."
Lashier holds a doctorate in chemical engineering from Iowa State University and has been granted 13 U.S. patents. He serves on multiple industry boards including the executive committee of the American Petroleum Institute and the board of the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers.

The appointment adds energy sector expertise to Motorola Solutions' board as the safety and security technology company continues its operations across various industries.
