Mission Critical Group names Julie Peffer as chief financial officer

Mission Critical Group appointed Julie Peffer as chief financial officer, the McKinney, Texas-based power infrastructure company announced. Peffer brings more than 30 years of financial operations experience from organizations including Amazon Web Services, Flowserve, Raytheon, Lennox International, and Textron.

Peffer joins Mission Critical Group from BigBear.ai (NYSE: BBAI), where she served as CFO and managed financial strategy during the company's expansion in defense and artificial intelligence sectors. She also serves on the board of Nine Energy Service (NYSE: NINE), an oil and gas services company.

At Mission Critical Group, Peffer will oversee financial, accounting, and IT operations as the company continues manufacturing power systems in the United States. The company designs, manufactures, delivers, and services electrical systems for critical power infrastructure.

"Julie's leadership and financial expertise will be instrumental as we continue scaling MCG's unified power and energy infrastructure platform," said Jeff Drees, chief executive officer of Mission Critical Group.

Mission Critical Group operates across more than one million square feet of manufacturing space and employs over 1,000 people. The company includes subsidiaries JTS, Point Eight Power, and DVM Power + Control.

The appointment reflects the company's investment in leadership as it expands its customer base and manufacturing operations across the United States, according to the press release.
