McFarlane Lake appoints Steve Kaszas to board of directors

McFarlane Lake Mining Limited (CSE: MLM) (OTCQB: MLMLF) announced that Steve Kaszas has accepted a position on the company's board of directors.



Kaszas brings over four decades of experience in the financial services industry to the Canadian gold exploration and development company. He began his career at Burns Fry in 1983 and became a shareholder in 1984. He currently serves as a senior leader with The Altberg Kaszas Group at BMO Nesbitt Burns.



Kaszas received the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal in 2003 for his contributions to Canada and the community.

"Steve is an accomplished business leader, his experience and sterling achievements on Bay St are commendable. We welcome his guidance to our board as we look to broaden our shareholder base and continue to develop and market our flagship property, the Juby Gold Project."



McFarlane Lake focuses on advancing its Juby Gold Project located near Gowganda, Ontario, within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The project has a current mineral resource estimate of 1.01 million ounces of gold in the indicated category at an average grade of 0.98 g/t gold and an additional 3.17 million ounces of gold in the inferred category at an average grade of 0.89 g/t gold, according to a September 29, 2025 report.



The company also holds other gold assets in Ontario, including the McMillan Gold Mine and Mongowin properties located approximately 70 kilometres west of Sudbury, and the Michaud/Munro properties located 115 kilometres east of Timmins.
