MDB Capital Holdings reports 2025 results with $30M eXoZymes stake

MDB Capital Holdings LLC (NASDAQ: MDBH) reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2025, according to a company statement.



The venture platform company holds approximately 4.1 million shares and warrants in eXoZymes (NASDAQ: EXOZ), valued at approximately $30 million based on March 30, 2026 market prices. The company also maintains approximately 7.1 million shares and warrants in Paulex Bio, which completed a $19 million seed round during 2025.



For the full year 2025, MDB Capital reported annual fixed operating expenses of approximately $10 million, which included $4 million invested in its MDB Direct clearing platform and PatentVest operations. Net cash used for the year totaled approximately $5.7 million.



At year-end, the company held approximately $22.3 million in cash, current assets, and marketable securities less all liabilities.



Paulex Bio expects to initiate clinical trials later this year, with an initial public offering targeted for September 2026. The company's platform focuses on beta-cell regeneration for diabetes treatment.



MDB Capital is advancing PatentVest toward a spin-out as a standalone AI-enhanced intellectual property law firm. The company is also in discussions for a strategic partnership regarding MDB Direct, its public ventures clearing platform.



The company earned additional equity positions in HeartBeam and Buda Juice through advisory services, with these positions recorded in 2026.



Chief Executive Officer Christopher Marlett is scheduled to host a conference call to discuss the results and answer questions.
